Learn the basics of figure skating in a challenging, rewarding, and FUN environment!
Participation enables beginner skaters of all ages & ability levels (3 years old and up) to learn the fundamentals of skating while teaching them skills necessary for further advancement.

Basic Skills - Learn to Skate USA
Basic Skills - Learn to Skate USA is the perfect next step for those continuing from the South Windsor Recreation Department’s Learn to Skate program.
This program is designed for skaters who are able to move independently on the ice without the use of a skate aid.
In a safe and fun environment, participants will progress through U.S. Figure Skating levels, earning badges as they build confidence and improve their abilities.
